The C12 control unit is able to manage up to 16 remote, radio controlled sensors using coded radio signals. The connections board on the back of the unit was designed so it can also accommodate hard-wired peripheral sensors, such as an exterior siren (the C33) or standard sensors operating with a normally closed contact.

The control unit is powered by the 230V mains supply, but it also has its own inbuilt NiMH batteries. Extra batteries can also be fitted, guaranteeing it will continue operating for a long time, even if there is a mains power blackout.

The control unit is normally armed, disarmed and zoned using its remote control or one of the other 6 remotes that can be added to the system, if required, even at a later date.

If preferred, you can opt for remote keypad control so the control unit is armed and disarmed by keying in a secret numerical code.

It is extremely easy to upgrade the system with extra remote controls or sensors and there is no need to alter its existing settings. It is just as simple to invalidate any remote controls should they be lost or stolen, safeguarding the home-owner's security.
