MetaSAT TVM is a telematic platform enabling driver-vehicle interaction with the added advantage of several different services.

The platform was designed to be linked up to the Octo Service Centre, a fully developed telematic management hub, coordinated by Octo Telematics and Meta System.

The keywords in the MetaSAT TVM system are:

GPS: Enables vehicle tracking using coordinates read by GPS (latitude and longitude) and displayed on a mapping system.

GSM/GPRS: Supports the transmission of insurance data from the "Clear Box" to the Multiservice Centre, software updates and vehicle tracking.

AUTOMOTIVE: Automotive industry endorsed, certified to "CE" requisites, has ISO7637; also approved by TÜV.

ACCELEROMETER : Enables detection of a crash and reconstruction of the dynamics before and after the event itself.

BLUETOOTH : "Vehicle Hands Free" operation: so you can use your BlueTooth mobile phone paired up to the hands free system fitted on your vehicle. "Data" operation: lets you use your handheld PC/PDA in conjunction with the system's GPS, starting up the mapping navigator on your handheld PC.

SOFTWARE : Enables management, processing, recording and transmission of data; it also handles the control of self-diagnosis.

INSTALLATION : Easy, fast and non-invasive on the vehicle's interior and its on-board technology.
