These wireless PIR sensors (Passive Infra Red) protect the interior space in a room.

Infrared sensors are able to read the heat given off by a moving person and give best results when his or her motion crosses the beams sent out by the sensor.

Their operating life is safeguarded by a microprocessor-controlled variable-immunity system, which adapts the timing of each sensor's surveillance to suit the number of persons in the area it is protecting.

The sensors come complete with a LED indicating an alarm has been triggered or if its battery is low and a micro-switch to prevent it from being taken off its mounting. The C220, a convenient swivel mount wall fitting, is available as an optional accessory.

The infrared sensor's sensitivity and its impulse counter can be adjusted, further reducing its susceptibility to false alarms.
